Normally I default to a Flannel option or just plump for an easy jumper; as no ironing is required. Well thermal layering is the answer and my M&S thermal vests have been worn regularly over the last few weeks. In todays outfit builder I've shown the Uniqlo Heattech t-shirt, as seen in Vogue no less!
There are a few cotton poplin white shirts to choose from but my favourite is the New Perfect shirt at J.Crew, styled perfectly here, left.
I'm wearing my dark wash Lee Scarlett jeans but John Lewis currently stock the raw hem version, which is an update to buy into, see below. My Next Leopard boots are no longer available so the nearest style I've found are the Whistles Chelsea boot with a chunkier heel, still with the pointier toe.
My Navy Zara wool mix coat is making an appearance again, so I've shown the sleeker, Pure wool, Hobbs Tilda coat below. I've accessorised with the M&S Cashmere oversized scarf which hubby bought me at Christmas, but again is no longer available, so I've chosen a Gerald Darel scarf from John Lewis which is now in the sale.
My hat here is HPI of Sweden but has no UK stockists that I've come across so I'm showing the Joseph ribbed hat again in a Camel shade. As the outfit has a classic feel to it I've added a bright red Dior nail polish, which is apparently worn by Rihanna, see more from Elle.com.
