I hope you're enjoying the half term break. We've been lucky enough to spend a lot of time at the beach and had some retro fun with these colourful windmills from East Beach Cafe, Littlehampton.

I'll be back next week with more outfit builders and hits from the high street but until then I have to report how pleased I was with the Massimo Dutti Shirt dress with belt detail, below, which I posted about and subsequently bought.

I love the weight and feel of the fabric, the hook and eye hidden fastening, along with the tailored style makes it look more expensive than its £79.95 price tag. Unfortunately it's no longer available online, but may still be in store if you're lucky enough to have a branch nearby.

Massimo Dutti Shirt dress £79.95

Today I kept my cool by wearing this gorgeous Tanvi Kedia print silk dress, which I bought last year from Anthropologie. I remember it being expensive but loved the delicate print design and thought the beautiful colour palette would really compliment my skin tone.

I don't have any regrets about the purchase, especially on holiday when it's my go to evening dress, or on days like today when the temperature rises. Anthropologie still stock some Tanvi Kedia items this season but nothing I personally would buy; or as appealing as this easy going silk summer dress.

I haven't been able to find any other stockists of this designer label or anything comparable so I'll leave it at that for today and share the rest of my outfit with you.
