1) An uninterrupted nights sleep!
Whatever the excuse, bad dream, runny nose or the need for a toilet trip the padding of little feet in the night towards your bedroom is not always welcome. Recently my youngest keeps being woken by the hammering rain and finds 'shelter' sneaking into our bed. Hopefully it won't become a habit.
If you need help dozing off peacefully then This works sleep plus pillow spray is the perfect gift for you.
I'm usually up early on a Sunday to take my youngest to her tennis lesson so dream of a lie in. Sometimes it would be nice to have nowhere to be and have nothing planned. As that's not going to happen then a cuppa in bed is more realistic. This mug by Alice Scott says what I often think but dare not admit!
My exasperated hubby has now found a flower delivery company that doesn't disappoint.
I love fresh flowers in the house and will often buy seasonal blooms from the weekly market and get change from a £10! So when ,on occasion, he buys me a far more expensive bunch I tend to be hyper critical!
That's why I love The Real Flower Company, not a tired stem or artificial colour in sight; even more exciting is that they have the option to add a bottle of Nyetimber sparkling Rose too.
I've only recently started to light up fragranced candles again. Maybe it's because the children are older, who knows, but I just love the flicker of candlelight and the subtle perfume wafting when they're blown out. It makes me feel grown up and sophisticated and certainly beats some of the odours I sniff when the children are around!
My current favourite is Cascadia by Woodlot, which I bought in Workshop, Brighton.
........being reminded, once a year, that all your efforts are appreciated and that you're loved unconditionally, even if it is in glorious glitter glue!
Thanks for stopping by.
