What Dads really want this Father's day

We've got a busy weekend ahead of us and Father's Day on Sunday may be eclipsed with all the other activities and events happening over the course of the day.

What my hubby would really like this Father's day is the following:

1) It to be windy, so he can indulge in a spot of windsurfing, dependant on tides of course. Anyway it's a Father's Day gift that I can't order online, no matter how organised I am. See above for the man himself in an action shot!

2) A great Eggs Benedict for breakfast. Another thing that I can't oblige with apparently. No matter how many times I've tried to do it at home it's just not the same and doesn't cut the mustard or should that be hollandaise!

3) A 'Get out of anything' card for the day. No offspring shuttle service, no homework duty and definitely no home management services....read DIY or putting out the recycling.

4) He'd also love to be allowed to bin all the homemade cards and gifts lovingly made by our children's own fair hands. This year he'll be given a pair of customised sports socks.........the youngest is so proud of them and can't wait for him to don them. She maybe waiting a while, bless her.

Sadly I suspect he won't get any of the above this Sunday. The only thing I can guarantee him is a 1 hour window so that he can go to the gym......as long as he drops off our eldest for tennis!

So Happy Father's day to all those dads out there; here's hoping you get something that you really, really  want and not yet another pair of socks (customised optional!)

See you next week for more daily outfit builders and thanks for stopping by.
