I started this post yesterday when it was grey and miserable; needless to say I didn't finish it so am publishing it today when the sun is shining, and although nippy, the skies are blue. However it's always useful to have a go to 'wet weather' outfit for the school run, so here's mine.
Here I'm wearing my recent purchases of Next sweatshirt, Next Signature leather Chelsea boots and ultra light down hooded burgundy Uniqlo coat; I bought it when it was on offer as my black version is mainly used for walking the dog.
The patterned scarf and pom pom hat are old. Wearing a bright colour, like this ochre sweatshirt, on a dull day can make a difference to how you're feeling and so for todays outfit planner I've also chosen a bright check scarf with a hot pink running through it and matched back a nail polish for added pop!
Rather than the usual bog standard skinny jean I've shown a Mint Velvet Camouflage biker jean to add interest. However I'm still a Lee jean convert and this particular pair is Scarlett fit with a cropped raw hem that just sit above the boots. The Coccinelle Backpack is nylon material so can withstand some light rain; check out their sale for more styles here as it's always worth investing in a great leather handbag too!
