Weekend outfit

I don't usually post at the weekend but here I am yesterday in the big smoke celebrating a friends birthday. No elaborate plans just a good brunch in Bills, so we could have a good natter and a mooch around Covent Garden. 

I'm wearing my usual low key outfit, layered up as it was spitting when I left the house but the forecast was for some afternoon sun.

We stopped at Hope and Greenwood (in pic), an old fashioned sweet shop in Holborn but I decided that there were enough sweet treats in the house after Easter so resisted the temptation.. 


After a couple of purchases in Zara, see above, we wandered over Waterloo bridge and ended up having a birthday drink atop the South bank centre in the sunshine before I headed back to the south coast.

I was also tempted by a scarf in East, a store whose offer is getting more interesting of late, but thought it was a tad pricey so I'll wait until the sales.
