I was at a meeting first thing so decided to wear my pale grey Iris & Ink cashmere ribbed jumper from last year and Massimo Dutti navy lace trimmed silk top, which is this season.
As I love the colour combination of khaki green and navy I've chosen this crepe de chine cami, from Iris & Ink, for todays outfit builder.
My jeans are Lee, Scarlett, skinny fit, in grey and these over the knee boots are Carvela, 'Supper' style from nearly 2 years ago, teamed with a Navy wool trenchcoat from Zara which is donkey's years old! & Other Stories currently have a similar style, see left. at £165.
If I was to buy a navy coat now I'd probably go for a shorter, more slimline coat like the Jigsaw style below.
The John Lewis Over the knee boots are good value and have a heavier tread which give them a new season update. They also have a practical stretch panel at the back which helps when pulling them on, especially if you have that very common challenge of getting boots over your calves!
Since walking the puppy I've had a few people compliment his collar and lead; it's nice and bright against his black wavy coat! They are from Brindle & Whyte, a UK company, with products handcrafted in England.
Not Hermes as someone thought.....I'll be getting a Hermes anything before the dog does!
