1) TK Maxx.
It will come as no surprise to readers of this blog that I absolutely love TK Maxx and a lot of my wardrobe 'go to' items are from there. I know my clients have a 'marmite' relationship with this discount store; some are avid fans whilst others liken it to a jumble sale. For the uninitiated I would recommend having a shopping list before entering otherwise if you don't have a 'lock on scanner' approach like myself it is rather daunting! I also have quite a strict buying policy when I shop there and stick to tried and tested or designer labels.
Today I'm wearing a Clements Ribeiro Potobello tweed jacket from there which is probably 3-4 years old. As the weather warms up I can start wearing my shorter jackets and the weave of black, grey and cream makes it so versatile and the denim frayed trim makes it a bit more edgy than a 'prim' tweed jacket.
2) Mavala
I try and keep my nails polished at all times and I've found that the smaller Mavala bottles mean I can update my colours without having a collection of gloopy, half finished, got to be thrown away really, bottles of the more expensive brands.
3) Lee jeans
I'm wearing my dark blue Lee skinny jeans today and I admit I bought mine from TK Maxx! However it's a jeans label that I would pay full price for and it's the one jeans brand I constantly recommend to Wardrobe Wand clients. If you are still searching for your 'perfect' jean try Lee first as those clients that have tried them love them too!
4) Sandro
This french label is my guilty pleasure. They now have a store in Brighton and so if I'm out and about will pop in to see the collection. As I'm on their mailing list I'll be alerted of any sale dates which is when I'll usually buy from there. However I visited Bicester village recently where they have an outlet store and bought a gorgeous lilac silk blouse. Today I'm wearing my Sandro mix fabric long sleeve top.
