 | Victoria Beckham was shown yesterday, looking gorgeous, left, in the Daily Mail, modelling a multi coloured pleated midi skirt from her own, eponymous SS17 collection. Unfortunately we'll have to wait a while until it's available in store but in the meantime here I am in my M&S Limited Edition, dark green midi pleat skirt which was a sale bargain at £15.50! Obviously I'm not wearing vertiginous heels or a laundered, pristine white shirt A la Mrs Beckham, but teamed it instead with weather appropriate black vest t-shirt from TK Maxx, Marni sunglasses, Coccinelle tan, round cross body bag and matching Matt Bernson KM gladiator sandals. Although they were a big SS trend there are still many pleated midi skirts to choose from again this season; from designer versions, like this printed Victoria Beckham number at Net-A-Porter, £990, below left, or this more affordable Zara version for £49.99, below right. The pleated midi skirt is a versatile addition to your AW wardrobe as in colder weather wear casually with a silky roll neck jumper and leather pumps or for evening wear with a faux fur jacket and ankle pixie boots, as the skirts have been styled below.
