the new sale purchase

So today the new M&S sale purchase gets it's first outing. This waxy parka was £44.99 reduced from £89 and whilst it looked dark khaki instore it's actually bronze but as with most metallic colours it goes with anything and will get a lot of wear.

I also think the faux fur trim is of a good quality unlike a lot of faux fur on the high street at the moment that doesn't quite cut the mustard. Talking of fur I have to confess that my cream cable knit hat by HPI of Sweden has a real fur pom pom but the one that I sourced below is definitely fake.

I'm wearing black and blue today which some say should never be worn together. Others would say blue and green should never be seen, unless there's something in between. The origins to this saying seem unclear but to me it's just another fashion rule to be broken. My Hudson skinny black jeans are from TK Maxx and my navy 100% cashmere jumper is from Uniqlo which they no longer stock but they do do a navy cashmere mix jumper seen below.

I've also got on my checked shirt from H&M, tan Uggs and my Dents sheepskin fingerless gloves, which now have fetching white paint splotches over them that I can't remove. This is thanks to rescuing my youngest from a freshly painted whitewashed garden wall on the way home from school one day. Needless to say her coat came out the wash as good as new but my sheepskin gloves never recovered!

As usual I've shopped the look for you and chosen similar products to those I'm wearing. Just click on the descriptive text to take you to the relevant websites.
