I hope you had a good half term and welcome back to mumsweardaily.com after a short break.

This is an outfit from the weekend as I wanted to show the layering of my H&M flannel shirt and Uniqlo breton top, with a khaki military jacket, old from Zara.

As it was milder I plumped for the shirt over, rather than under a top, and as the Khaki jacket is sleeveless it showcased the turned up cuffs; a simple styling tip.

I also like having the pale blue collar of the shirt popped up near to my face as lighter shades are more flattering for mature skin, however you can't see it here because of my cosy cashmere Zara scarf!

Over the weekend I also came across this Banana Republic Full sleeve military Jacket £85, but all sizes have sold out unless you're a XXS! If it's been popular they may do another run...we'll have to wait and see.

You can only get the range online as unfortunately in December 2016 Banana Republic stores closed in the UK, due to poor performance, maybe if they'd done more reworked updates like this they may have had better sales results!

Anyway Zara have done a similar style, with an embroidered trim detail to boot, which I've included in my outfit builder below, but get it quick before this style is a sell out too!

If you like todays look click on the links to shop and thanks for stopping by.
