The blue shirt

Today I've taken my inspiration from Emmanuelle Alt, literary editor for Vogue, Paris. I often look at her Pinterest style as she wears luxe basics very well indeed and one of her go to uniforms is a soft shirt and skinny jean or trouser combo finished off with a killer heel.

I love this blue shirt with a black skinny jean look so decided to try it with a white jean and pull the black accessories through the outfit instead. No heels for me though but kept to a more feminine cut out Nine West flat sandal for interest.

My shirt is from H&M and 100% cotton which means I can keep cool in the heat. I've also tucked it in at the front to add shape and allows my black belt to be seen too.

My white jeans are from Lee and I find the brand offers a thicker denim with a stretch for better coverage as some white denim can be quite unforgiving. I also found some Gucci sunglasses available from TK Maxx as I bought my black Karl Lagerfeld pair from there too. See my outfit builder below for similar product and click on the descriptive text to buy.

Thanks for stopping by.
