Simple shift dress

I got my legs out today but not for long as this length of dress proved impractical for anything other than standing still.....so when I came back from the school run conceded defeat and wore my cream slim trousers underneath! 

However this soft denim shift dress is an easy, versatile piece to add to your wardrobe. Mine was from Next but there are a lot of versions currently on the high street. My look here is more holiday appropriate but come Autumn you could layer a breton stripe top under it ,wear tights and ankle boots. See Pinterest denim dress outfits for more inspiration.
