I bought it in March when the probability of wearing it was nil but immediately loved the cut and channelled D ring belt detail, which is a lot more practical than a separate fabric tie belt. It was more than I would usually expect to pay but knowing the brand, design aesthetic and checking out the composition decided it was worth the price tag.
It got it's first outing this week and it didn't disappoint, such an easy piece to pop on and look considered yet relaxed in this humidity!
A silk shirtdress is always worth the investment and is versatile enough for both work and weekends. Unless you also find a bargain in TK Maxx the nearest style I've come across is this Iris & Ink Adrienne silk shirtdress for £160, which has a further 40% discount at checkout, so snap one up soon.
See more from the Iris & Ink range that currently has a discount offer, here.
I wore silver and grey based accessories, as the D ring is silver metal, but in my outfit builder I've chosen gold accessories which look great with navy. I've added a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick too as this 'B-tch Perfect' shade is a bestseller and was featured in her tutorial on a natural, glowing look, see link here.
