If it's warm with a slight breeze outside I prefer to layer with a light knit jumper. The one I'm wearing today is actually 100% linen, a navy striped Arabella & Addison jumper from TK Maxx. However a lot of the lighter weight knitwear usually have a cotton or viscose mix.
For my outfit builder I've chosen this M&S limited edition jumper as it ticks the trend for sheer panels too. When I did a review in April of the Limited Edition range this was my favourite piece and had low stock online. It's still full price and they must have replenished it as you can now get it across sizes.
It is definitely a keeper and as it has a nautical look will have longevity in your wardrobe. I love the ribbon detail at the back and it's a perfect addition to your holiday packing; wear on the plane with boyfriend jeans, sight seeing in tailored white shorts and panama hat or as a cover up on the beach.
