Scottish Widow

Remember that ad that made Amanda Lamb famous? Well here I am doing my best Scottish Widows impression. In my attempt to remain hands free on the school run I wear my hooded black raincoat by Kors by Michael Kors from good old TK Maxx. The problem with a wide hood in the wind and rain is that it just doesn't stay put and has the properties of a parachute so I actually end up holding on to it instead!

As I bought my coat over 4 years ago it was actually harder than I thought finding a similar trench coat with a hood. The one I've credited below is from Joseph and now in the sale. In my extensive search I did come across London Fog, a new brand to me, which seems to be stocked in the U.S. Funny how we can even export stereotypical weather conditions successfully!

I'm wearing my fuchsia pink Wishbone silk shirt under my Uniqlo cashmere V neck grey jumper and I've turned over the cuffs or am attempting to as you can see in this action shot! Big thanks to Hannah Martin of Talented Ladies Club for that as well as all the snaps of me to date.

Lee blue skinny jeans, dark grey M&S cable knee highs and my Marc Jacobs Leopard print wellies complete the look. If you like this look see below for the same or similar items and click on the descriptive text to go straight to the corresponding website.
