This picture was taken over the half term break but the reason I'm showing it today is that over the weekend my Deane & White grey cashmere hoodie, that I've had for years, came a cropper, literally, in the wash, or the tumble dryer, the exact cause is unknown.
However the person responsible has been identified. So whilst I'm grateful the hubby pulls his weight in the household chore department I'm not so happy that the hand wash only items are still a mystery to him and now my much loved cashmere hoodie is half it's original size!
I suppose it's an excuse to buy a new one but I'll have to find something similar first. The Jardin des Orangers version, shown in todays outfit builder, comes close but looks quite short so I'll keep on looking for now.
I don't have to worry about my Uniqlo breton stripe which is also old and washes and wears brilliantly. I'm tempted to buy the pink stripe version for a SS update.
