Today I'm wearing my heeled Dune boots which I bought from TK Maxx last Autumn. As you may have noticed I usually wear flats, especially in the Winter, but when I'm working I like to look a little more polished hence the heels.
When I'm doing Wardrobe Wand Inspiration boards I ask my clients who their style icon is. Whether it be someone in the public eye or maybe a colleague at work it's a great indicator to their innate style preferences.
Today I was researching images of Victoria Beckham and her 'off duty' style. It must be said that although she has casual elements in her wardrobe they are always accompanied by high heels, and I daresay a chauffeur, which makes it more of a challenge to channel her looks.
One of the pictures I found was from 2 years ago when she'd relocated to London and was seen in a chippy with her son Cruz. It reminded me of what I'm wearing today as she was wearing a heeled boot, a navy knit jumper and blue skinny jeans. Which hopefully goes to show style doesn't go out of fashion.
