Pop of colour

I've got an appointment with the hairdresser today as the photos for this blog keep reminding me how visible those grey hairs are! So here I am wearing a relaxed, more casual outfit. As my wardrobe is made up of a lot of neutral shades I find I'm drawn to adding a pop of colour by way of accessories or as yesterday a bright nail polish!

This neon pink print scarf is from TK Maxx and I love the colour against the khaki of my Next linen jacket. If anyone should get up close and personal they may notice a flash of my bright pink bra too. Another way of making me feel more 'colourful'.

My basic white linen t-shirt is last years from Next but I'm disappointed that they've changed the style and added a pocket this season. Grey slate 'Authentic' brand jogging style trousers were from TK Maxx worn with my customised Mi Stan Smith leather trainers. I've kept to the white leather theme by sporting my white leather shopper, again a TK Maxx purchase made over 3 years ago. To jazz it up I've added an Anya Hindmarch tassel which I bought on my recent visit to Bicester Village.

My nude Marni sunglasses, yep another purchase from TK Maxx, finish the look. Hopefully by tomorrow the only grey you'll see will be in my choice of outfit and not my barnet, although a trip to the hairdresser is a great excuse to flick through the latest fashion magazines.
