If you like a check or tartan shirt take a good look at it the next time you wear it and make a mental note of all the colours you see weaving in and out. My much loved, and much worn, New Look check flannel shirt has a variety and as well as the navy and red base colours it has green, white and a yellow running through it.
Cue todays easy to do style tip. I happen to have a yellow cable knit scarf from Accessorize and wore that to pull through the yellow, just seen, in my shirt. I like the mixture of texture and weave and it's oh so subtle but just enough to make my outift feel 'considered'.
