We took advantage of the sunny weather today and headed for a stroll along the pier. Yesterday saw a record breaking highest temperature for November, since records began, and on the South Coast it continued to be mild. So mild in fact that I've been wearing my flannel shirts in rotation. Today is an old New Look number with a navy base and red check. I've chosen a Rails 'Hunter' shirt for my outfit builder as it's reduced to £94 online at John Lewis. Whilst this is still a premium price for a flannel shirt it's a good time to buy for those that love the cut and feel of this cult LA brand. I've layered it over a tucked in, sleeveless grey t-shirt and left it open to give the illusion of a slimmer frame. The tan jeans belt also helps break up the silhouette too. My military sleeveless jacket from Zara is still going strong and probably ranks as one of my best sale purchases! As this one is no longer available the River Island version is still the best I've come across on the high street. Lee 'Scarlett' dark blue skinny jeans , 'Is to me' brown suede ankle boots from TK Maxx, Coccinelle cross body bag and Gucci sunglasses complete the look.
