Nautical but nice

Today I've gone for a nautical theme, teaming a dark wash denim jean with a striped red, white and navy cardigan, which makes a change from the fashion staple Breton top.

I don't wear many cardigans, usually preferring a tailored jacket, but I love this linen mix cardigan which is very old from TK Maxx. The navy trim and pockets make it more versatile but I couldn't find anything similar for my outfit builder so chose a Mango linen version which is great value for money.

If you still prefer a Breton top to a cardigan then go for a red stripe version for an update for SS15. It makes a change from a classic navy stripe and there are so many to choose from with Boden, Hobbs, Saint James at Atterley Road and John Lewis, to name just a few, doing an option this season. Click here for more Breton top style inspiration from Atterley Road.

My jeans are MIH, from TK Maxx, Next white linen t-shirt, Accessorize tan belt and tan espadrilles from Zara, which are all old apart from this seasons Gucci sunglasses. See my outfit builder below for similar pieces and click on the descriptive text to shop.

Thanks for stopping by.
