My TK Maxx haul!

It's been a while since I last went into TK Maxx; there was a time when I used to pop in every other week and inevitably buy something every visit.

With my quest to keep purchases minimal, and on a "do I really need it?" basis, I've curtailed my retail therapy to try and avoid temptation, especially on trips to TK Maxx!  

​So no surprise then that when I did venture in I ended up with quite a haul. The 'Purity Lab' candles were the first things that caught my eye with their wooden branded stoppers atop textured, natural pots and quirky scents. The smaller marbled ones were £3.99, with a Guava Avocado fragrance  and the larger candle was £7.99 with a Ginger Lily scent.

Then I spotted the 'Cook with Color' (it's a US brand) range of kitchen utensils; perfect for our new home, when we eventually move in, so I got the set of Spaghetti Spoon, Turner and Spoon, for £2.99 each.

I noticed the Catherine Malandrino (another US designer brand) trousers on my way through ladies wear en route to the cash desk; they ticked trend boxes, linen, wide striped, loose fit, slightly cropped....and at £19.99 a great price point. Too good to be left on the rail, so yet another gem I couldn't resist.

Unfortunately I can't find any of my wares online so you too will have to go into store if you want to source anything similar. However a word of warning you may get wanderlust whilst in there!
