Anyway this pic was taken last Sunday, on a family lunch outing, so I've deemed it worthy of a post today. I've been meaning to write about my M&S sale purchases for a while but didn't get around to it and now, as the remnants swing on a hotchpotch of a 'reduced to clear' sale rail, I feel compelled to share them with you.
First up is the above midi Autograph 'Supima' utility skirt, which I bought for £19.50. It's no longer available online but I caught a glimpse of a couple in my local M&S, which I think were reduced further, so I'll give you the code-T50/8503.
I'm wearing it here with a Massimo Dutti front pockets silk shirt, last season, Matt Bernson tan KM gladiator sandals and Anya Hindmarch Maxi zip bag for a sophisticated Safari look.
It more than resembles a J.Crew style that I love, the tie waist skirt in cotton linen mix for £98. See below and the leopard print one is fab at £110, but is currently sold out!! Also note how they cleverly tie the fabric belt....in their 'signature half- bow. (How to do it? Instead of making a second bunny ear, you just keep pulling the fabric through.)' J.Crew.
For now see todays outfit builder to recreate a similar look, click on the links to shop and thanks for stopping by.
