It feels silky but is actually made from 100% polyester which makes it easier to care for. I paid £60 for it at the LFWF and it's currently on their website at £69, see left, for a better idea of how the style looks actually on.
I was tempted by an Anya Hindmarch boxy All over Sticker cross body bag, which had a great discount but it was still £595, so decided to pass.
I didn't pass on the Jane Carr 100% silk scarves though. I ended up buying two; one in darker tones. see above left and a larger one in summer brights.
I then came across the S'well bottle stand and as I've promoted their bottles several times it was a no brainer and plumped for the design above right. It will definitely elevate my gym kit!
Then onto the shoe section where I fell in love with a pair of Julia Mays slouch boots with contrast panel block coloured heels, below. They didn't have my size left which makes the decision making process a lot easier and cheaper! This is one luxury footwear label to watch; Julia designs the range in her London studio and then they're handcrafted in a family run factory in Northern Italy, in keeping with her brand values of 'fair sustainable production' and a 'celebration of art and craftsmanship'.
We finished off our retail therapy and headed for a cocktail in Scarfes Bar at The Rosewood hotel, which was the perfect way to catch up properly with the girls before heading back to the South Coast!
