Since I started mumsweardaily my eldest has unwittingly become my official Blog photographer but as he's now got to that pre-teen age, where he wants to walk to school independently, its become hit or miss when or if I get him to take a pic! So today I asked my six year old if she'd like to assume that mantel, reluctantly she obliged with the above results. She's clearly veering towards the action shot genre! Anyway this was the first outing of my newly purchased Topshop Leopard print coat, the long awaited replacement for my much loved Next overcoat from 2013, see left, and I'm still hoping they will see sense and resurrect it! Until then I chose this Topshop style because I like the greyish tinge of the base. The coat does come up on the large side and even though I'd ordered a size 14 I ended up with a 10 as I prefer a close fit on the shoulders and a neater silhouette overall. I teamed it with a sand coloured round neck light knit from Zara, last years, and some S.Oliver drawstring trousers with a turn up from TK Maxx. The only downside to a Leopard print coat is not being able to wear my Leopard print Stan Smiths so my white leather Stan Smiths came out instead! |
