I saw this H&M short Leopard print coat with notch collar in my local store yesterday and thought it was a great weight for a mid season outerwear option, if you want to shrug off your heavier coat. I would say it has the hallmarks of a best seller so be quick, as online size 14 upwards have already sold out!
I've chosen my favourite chambray shirt, that I've seen to date for 2017; an & Other Stories ruffle shirt, for todays outfit builder. I've added a H&M grey V neck t-shirt, like the one I'm wearing here, as I've worn my shirt open to add another layer. Note I've also turned up the cuff of my shirt to contrast with the print of the coat.
I've also sourced a cashmere scarf with an ombre effect, similar to my TK Maxx Deane & White scarf, even if it is across and not down, and has fringing, from Dunedin Cashmere. At least you get the effect to pull in both the black and grey of this outfit.
Khaki Cargo pants are another sure bet for Spring and Next have a few versions on offer but these pocket slim trousers are closer to the Ralph Lauren pair I'm wearing here. I've grounded the look with Adidas Hamburg Tonal grey and pearl shoes, which tie in with the base colour of the coat too. It's this subtle match back that makes an outfit appear more considered.
