Layer up with a denim shirt

Today my look was inspired by an outfit in the new Hush catalogue which layered a denim shirt over a white T and under a camel wool coat. Whilst I didn't replicate it I thought it was a great look, especially for those mums that want to be both stylish and practical.

Instead of a coated jean I opted for my light grey moleskin jeans by Notify and rather than a pointed flat wore tan suede boots, from TK Maxx. As it threatened to rain I went for last years M&S cotton parka; it isn't ideal to get caught in a shower wearing a wool coat as you could end up smelling like a wet dog!

I've chosen a Parka London style below which at £275 is quite expensive but comes with a fully detachable borg lining, as last year I ended up buying two parkas because my cotton one was too thin in the winter.

My burgundy cross body bag is from Coccinelle but I've seen a few on the high street this season like the Clarks one shown in my outfit builder.

My soft wash denim shirt is old from H&M but find a similar one below. Try it with other outfits as just a peek of denim breaks up the block white of the t-shirt and adds some texture and interest.

Click on the descriptive text to shop the look and if you enjoy this post kindly share it with friends and family. Thanks for stopping by.
