See my lowdown on the 8 knit trends to know below. 1) The Batwing: As the eighties heavily influence the high street the batwing sleeve has been emerging as the 'It' sleeve. 2) Tie sleeves: We're used to seeing tie detailing on shirting now it's the tie sleeve on knits. 3) Deep Bardot: It was a popular neckline from the Summer and now it's making knitwear sexy, look out for this off both shoulders feature, also known as a Bandeau neckline. 4) Bishop Sleeve: A small change can make the biggest style impact; like this shape sleeve with greater volume just before hitting the cuffs. 5) Slash detail: Replace the cold shoulder trend with this more subtle gaping. 6) Tipping: A contrast edging seen on frills or hems, this tipping detail takes its cue from Sportswear ; still a heavy influence seen on the SS17 catwalks. 7) The wider high neck: The turtle neck moves on; this wider high neck is more forgiving to those of us that don't have a swan like feature. 8) Knitted dress: The one piece easy outfit for the body confident is back.
