I love the abstract leopard pattern and colours chosen for this easy update. The stripe border will match back if you're wearing a stripe top and if you thought that was too considered then wait.... the pull tab from the Eytys pump is the same shade of aubergine!
Just goes to show that it IS all in the detail.
My eldest, bless him, has been off school with tonsillitis so I've been crawling the walls but I was lucky enough to get out and about at the weekend with a planned visit to London to see the Vogue 100 A Century of style exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. As my friends and I reminisced, drifting from one decade of cover shoots to another, it dawned on us just how old we were! Where has the time gone?
I have a collection of old Vogues dating back to 1992, eek, which are just lined up on the bookshelf. I now feel inspired to use them more creatively and am wondering if I should frame some of my favourite covers; the December 2000 Gold issue with Nick Knight's profile of Kate Moss being one of them, above left. At least that will be my excuse when I'm caught flicking through all the old editions!
