Jog on!

I'm sure those black clouds weren't there when I came out! Anyway this is what happens when you dress according to what you see out of the window instead of actually checking the external temperature.

So here I am, forever the optimist ,in my not so warm but casual 'sports luxe' or to coin a newer term ''athleisure' layered outfit. Whichever phrase you prefer they mean the same thing which is wearing your joggers, trainers, sweats for every day rather than the purpose they were originally created for.

However do not make the mistake of thinking you can get away with wearing the same sweaty gear you wear to the gym, those old favourite 'lounging' tracksuit bottoms or worn out gardening trainers to tick box this trend.

The navy joggers I'm wearing here are CK by Clavin Klein and are a baumwolle cotton and nylon mix, well you know I love my compositions! This gives them a great feel and sheen and as they also have a transparent seaming detail down the leg puts them firmly in the 'luxe' rather than 'sports' category. I got them in TK Maxx about 2 years ago to the bitter disappointment of a friend who upon seeing them unsuccessfully scoured every TK Maxx she could to find another pair.

Now there are a lot of stylish jogging trousers on the high street to choose from. Let's hope my friend finds a pair she loves as much as these.
