A Happy New Year to you all and as I spent some of the festive season in New York am sharing this snap of the 'Happy' clutch by Edie Parker in one of the amazing Bergdorf Goodman holiday windows.
As it was a family trip we did a lot of sightseeing; skating in Central park was a highlight for the children as was the Radio City Christmas spectacular starring the Rockettes and a trip up the Empire state building.
I loved the 'Chillin' Out' themed windows at Barneys, although the store was closed when we sauntered past on Christmas day, and enjoyed a date night with hubby at 'La Chine', Waldorf Astoria's new fine dining restaurant.
There wasn't much time for retail therapy but I did buy a KYI KYI pom pom beanie, left, in Lord & Taylor as it was the nearest department store to our hotel. However it was so mild, tourists were sporting t-shirts on Christmas eve, that I didn't get to wear it in NY, but I'm sure it will come in handy now we're back in Blighty.
