It's just over a year since I started mumsweardaily.com. Click here for my first ever post, entitled January blues, on 7.01.2015 and see my flashback outfit below. I've still got every element floating about in my wardrobe somewhere and the navy cashmere V neck jumper from Uniqlo and the Lee dark blue skinny jeans are very much going strong as key staples in my outfit builders!!
Nothing much has changed over the last year style wise as today I'm wearing, another old faithful, my M&S cotton grey marl sweatshirt. I'm also still wearing a H&M flannel shirt underneath, replacing last years dark navy base version with a cream windowpane one.
I've got a new hat though, swapping out the trilby for a pom pom beanie; this KYI KYI here was a New York purchase from Lord and Taylor, which is now sold out, but see a similar style in today's outfit builder below.
Both the Reiss black leather jacket and CK boyfriend jeans I've worn before as well as my Adidas Mi Stan Smith pumps, but for the beady eyed among you you'll notice I've changed the white laces to grey to highlight the silver back tab. It's all in the detail!
I am lusting after the new Adidas leopard print pony pair but at £100 can't justify yet another animal print pair of shoes in my wardrobe. However that doesn't mean I can't include them in the outfit builder today, just in case!
New today are my John Lewis lambskin gloves, which were a sale purchase, now £25 reduced from £50. I have quite small hands but the medium size was a good fit and replaced my much loved fingerless lambskin gloves that avid readers will remember were never quite the same after an accident involving some white wall paint!
