Since I was young I'd never imagined wearing a traditional meringue number and had always vowed to wear an Armani trouser suit on my wedding day.
Obviously my taste had changed by the time the day arrived in my mid thirties and I fell in love with a nude layered organza Roland Mouret cocktail dress. However when it arrived I couldn't do it up and there were no other sizes available so 3 weeks before the big day I was traipsing around London trying to find an alternative.
Thankfully I finally found the 'one' in Browns, another Roland Mouret silk origami cocktail dress that fitted perfectly. As my groom was going to be wearing a navy suit I also bought a navy lace overlay bolero from the collection too.
My shoes were Dolce & Gabbana and as I was in the industry had a diamante soft clutch purse made for me by a supplier. I also wore a pair of vintage clip earrings from a shop in Islington.
Thanks for allowing me a trip down memory lane and thank you to my hubby who I hope to spend the next decade with too.
Thanks for stopping by.
