The Family Foot-o!
I'm back after having been away to Greece for a family holiday; only to return to not just a new PM, Murray winning Wimbledon and other seismic world events that took place, but also no Wifi or broadband connection!

After spending 4 hours yesterday in the company of a lovely BT engineer we now have Wifi but a cabling issue has still got to be investigated.......

Anyway that has meant an enforced hiatus from posting but with the Summer holidays in full swing and the impromptu days out, shuttle service to tennis clubs and the inevitable late nights to bed (that's just the kids by the way) I've been glad of the extra break.

I tend not to post daily during the school holidays but will aim to do a couple a week to keep my hand in.

Here's my favourite holiday snap of us all by the pool, which I'm naming a 'Family Foot-o'. Thankfully I'd had a pedicure and the hubby has exceptionally nice feet but it's definitely an easier option than the traditional heads together photo, where you all need to be looking at the camera and smiling at the same time!

We ventured to Ouranopolis, Halkidiki which is a perfect location for the children to get to grips with the water sports on offer. My eldest even went scuba diving, where he saw a squid squirt ink ,Finding Nemo style, although I can't corroborate this, not being with him!

Whilst I was there I came across the following Greek brands that I'd like to share with you here:

1) Pink Powder Jewellery: Sold in our hotels boutique this delicate jewellery offer stood out, with it's mix of semi precious stones and gorgeous colour combinations. Although based in London, since the collection launched, the Creative director ,Vasso Kalogeropoulou, is Greek born and the production is in Athens.

They have a sale on at the moment where items are up to 50% off, see my favourite picks below, or to shop the new collection click here: Pink Powder Jewellery.

So a holiday isn't complete without an impulse buy at the airport and with our BA flight delayed by 2 hours there was a valid excuse for some retail therapy! See the soft gold leather pair of sandals I purchased below and worn with everything since I got home.

Of course I forgot to mention there was also a heatwave in Blighty while we were away ...no doubt causing the lightning that has kaputt our cable; Ah, isn't it good to be back?!

Hi Amanda,
they're Migato leather sandals bought at the airport, unfortunately I can't find them on their website and the label is not stocked in the UK.
They were such a bargain too, just over 34 euros in the sale!
Sorry I can't help on this occasion,

Have a good day,
Karen.
