My Fashion Advent calendar is fast becoming a Christmas wish list however I do own the more affordable high street version of the Stuart Weitzman 'Lowland' boots, in black suede, left, that I've chosen for today's post.
'Over the knee' boots have been on the fashion radar for the past couple of years and are still going strong. For evening a heeled version ramps up a pair of skinny jeans but for day a low or flat pair offers comfort as well as ticking the on trend box.

Here I am wearing them on a recent day trip to see some girlfriends in London; outside the very colourful V V Rouleaux, after a leisurely brunch at Chiltern Firehouse.
Do beware that although they say suede they seem to be made from a suedette material so I did quaver at the £180 price point before trying them on but as soon as I got them on they became a keeper!
