If you read my blog regularly you'll know I was lucky enough to be in Dubai last week and there was a certain style of espadrille that kept catching my eye. As Dubai is home to the biggest mall in the world, the Dubai mall, with it's flagship Chanel store, it should have come as no surprise that, on closer inspection, the espadrille in question was stamped with the iconic double C logo, above left.
Of course even the humble espadrille, when given the Karl Lagerfeld treatment, head designer and creative director at the infamous Parisian fashion house, comes with an eye watering price tag of £465!

So I've found two purse friendly versions, that from a distance will cut the mustard; the & Other Stories Leather and suede espadrille also comes in all black and the Office Lucky espadrille, a great colour match to the Chanel original, is also available in black with a white leather toe cap.
