Eclipse? no.......lunar coat? yes!

Here on the south coast the Eclipse was somewhat hindered by cloud cover. I donned my 'new' coat as due to the lack of sun knew I'd feel the chill. It does resemble the moons surface from a distance but it was the texture that attracted me in the first place.

I was in M&S and happened to go past their sale rail when I spotted it. I have been looking for a leopard print jacket. I got excited and thought I'd found one online at Next, ordered it, picked it up instore to promptly return it. The metallic silver thread and fabrication having not been obvious from the online photograph!! It's a risk you take when virtual shopping.

Anyway so it was back to the drawing board when I saw this. More lunar than leopard I know but does a similar job by bringing interest to an otherwise basic, block colour outfit. It's from the Per Una Speziale range and is an Italian fabric coat with wool. Now at £88, down from £159, I thought that was good value for money and as it was on my shopping list decided to buy it.

So today I'm wearing my coat with a more simple outfit of my Autograph white shirt, Zara nude vest underneath, James Jeans soft ripped jeans and Uterque leather buckle boots.
See my outfit builder below for my actual coat, which is currently available, and similar items to get the look. Click on the descriptive text to go straight to the relevant websites.

Here's hoping the next total Eclipse will be more apparent, we've only got to wait until 2090!
