I was up and out earlier than usual this morning as I had a meeting at the school. I woke before my alarm and managed to get 3 loads of washing sorted and away before the munchkins stirred. It's amazing just how much you can get done without constant companions!

It reminded me of an item I read in the Daily Mail about Esther Anderson's facebook video of why mums really never get anything done. With over 50 million views it goes to show that completing daily chores with a toddler is a common conundrum that any carer of little ones faces. I remember those times fondly now mine are both of school age!

Today I'm more casual and have layered my New Look check shirt under my Uniqlo cashmere navy V neck jumper. My White Company cargo pants,M&S grey cable socks and short tan suede boots make up my lower half. Outerwear is my khaki cotton parka, an M&S sale purchase and it's bright enough not to have to wrap up in a scarf or hat.

So once my meeting is over I'm looking forward to having a few hours of uninterrupted............housework!!?
