Crop flare jean

The cropped flare jean is the current favourite of fashionistas. Although I'm not going to wear it like Alexa Chung, in a 70's vibe with a heeled ankle boot and print blouse, I do like to get my ankles out when the sun shines.

So today I pulled out my MiH 'The Paris' cropped jean which has a slight flare at the hem and is a 7/8ths length as opposed to a definite crop trouser! I bought them from TK Maxx over 2 years ago for a smarter alternative to my boyfriend jeans. 'The Paris' style is still available in a mid blue wash from Net-A-Porter.

This length is great for those with good ankles and gives a chance to show off your shoes. These fun woven ballet pumps are from TK Maxx and the nautical colorway goes well with my Uniqlo breton top. To pull the red through the whole outfit I've plumped for a red lip, another lipstick from the L' Oreal color riche range.

My white Zara blazer has it's first outing of the year to give a fresher Spring look on a blue sky day. Zara is always great for tailoring and have a few white jacket options currently available. However as I couldn't find any ballet pumps with a tricolour woven pattern I chose a breton top from Uniqlo that will give the same nautical feel.

I've then balanced out the stronger stripe colours with a textured but plain ballet pump from Massimo Dutti.

If you like todays outfit go to the descriptive text below my outfit builder to shop my selected pieces.
