You'll probably find that as we go into Autumn the high street has a lot of different checked shirts to choose from. For now I'd advise you wear one with an off white or pale ground colour as it keeps the look lighter for the last of the summer and is usually more flattering as it helps bounce light onto the face.

If you want an A-Lister look then Californian label Rails is the go to brand for plaid. The likes of Beyonce, Kate Hudson and Cara Delevingne have all been spotted wearing the shirt label that was founded seven years ago by Jeff Abrams. Click on the link to WhoWhatWear.com for more pics and info.

If you want a more affordable option then head to Uniqlo for what I consider is the best selection on the high street and where the shirt I'm wearing today is from.

See my outfit builder below for my actual shirt and similar items to achieve the look and click on the descriptive text to shop. If you enjoy this post please kindly share with friends and family.

Thanks for stopping by.
