No April fooling here just a look forward to Spring with my selection of Bucket bags. It's the must have bag shape of the season and all my picks are real leather apart from the Mango version at number 5.

1) Michael Kors 'Miranda' bag
This Michael Kors 'Miranda' bucket bag is available from Net-a-Porter and has the finishing details and design to warrant the price of £655. As it's from his main line collection it is definitely an investment piece but the gorgeous vanilla shade will mean it will go with everything in your summer wardrobe.

2) Uterque fringed bucket bag
The Inditex brand Uterque has great quality leather goods and this bags ice blue shade and fringe detail makes it a less obvious choice of bucket bag. Now reduced from £215 to £160.

3) Reiss 'Maya' bag
Reiss always offers a considered range of accessories and this season doesn't disappoint. Their 'Maya' bucket bag comes in a gorgeous apricot shade which is surprisingly versatile.

4) Whistles mini 'Onslow' bag
As well as the bucket bag the 'mini' bag is also having a fashion moment and this Whistles version combines both trends. Their 'Onslow' bag is cute enough to wear across the body for the seasonal events and means you have both hands free for a glass of champers and a nibble too.

5) Mango bucket bag
I think the Mango bucket bag is the best imitation leather version on the high street. It comes in a gorgeous bluebell colour and at £39.99 looks like the real McCoy.
