Today it's back to school, back to the early morning alarms, packed lunches and old routines. For me it's back to a daily weekday blog although as I haven't bought much in the way of AW new season items it will be a rehash of my old faithful wardrobe staples.
One thing I have added to my morning routine though is Elizabeth Arden's Superstart skin renewal booster. Having read about it in the press to rave reviews and lured by its promise to help renew and restore the skins surface layer I thought I'd give it a go. As I prefer a tinted moisturiser, rather than a heavier foundation, it appealed to me as did its claim that it will boost the effectiveness of my other skincare products too.
I'll let you know how I get on with it, although I daresay you may be able to see the results yourself if you view this blog over the next few months!
A casual outfit to drop the children off as I'm working from home today. It's sunny but to keep the chill at bay I plump for my Uniqlo white sweatshirt, which is brighter and gives a more summery feel than my grey marl one. I've teamed it with my White Company grey ankle zip trousers and Adidas mi Stan Smith trainers. These are the classic white leather version but new to the customise option is a croc effect leather which I love and so I've used them in my outfit builder.
To add some interest I've accessorised with my old linen Aztec pattern large scarf which was from Next, white leather shopper from TK Maxx which I personalised with an Anya Hindmarch tassel keyring, a Bicester village purchase, and Gucci sunglasses.
If the Anya Hindmarch keyrings are a tad too expensive you could always opt for the jaunty stickers from the collection, see left, to update your bag or purse!
