Add some Spring Yellow to your look!

It has finally started to feel like Spring, what with blue skies yesterday, the dial turned right down on the heating and the copious crops of Daffodils, which always make me smile. With Yellow having a fashion moment this SS17 I thought I'd add some Spring Yellow to todays outfit builder.

Yellow can be a tricky trend to wear so I would be cautious when buying into this shade as it isn't the most flattering against some skin tones. However it was all over the catwalk shows and I loved Simone Rocha's use of yellow in her collection, teaming it with romantic silhouettes and diluting it with splashes of green or white, see images above, by photgrapher Sonny Vandevelde.

Whilst we wait for the weather to warm up I'd recommend introducing this sunny shade into your look with accessories. In todays outfit builder I've taken the wardrobe building blocks of Breton top, Joggers and Leather Biker Jacket, I'm wearing above, and added a Zara Scarf and Bag for a pop of colour.
