I'm of a certain age, and daresay have a certain taste, where surprise Christmas presents are deemed a risk not worth taking by some of my close friends and family. Whilst it takes the suspense, and an amount of joy, out of present unwrapping it also means my face, that cannot lie, will not give anything away but sheer delight!
So here are my top 5 perfect present ideas which I would love Santa to bring me this year!
Of course there's a gorgeous smelling candle; this SOH Melbourne candle is from one of my favourite stores in Brighton, Workshop. I've tried out most of the fragrances but not the Grace Le Rose....not yet anyway!
Then a good read; I read an interesting review about this book and anything that can make Christmas shenanigans go smoothly is a must; or it's off to the kitchen where you'll find me pouring over this as well as a Bucks Fizz.
Somehow fresh flowers seem so extravagant over the festive season, maybe it's because there's already a tree in the house, and this Christmas bouquet from the Real Flower company won't disappoint.
Instead of my usual cashmere clothing item I've opted for another Hay blanket as I absolutley love the one I bought in Copenhagen; however I do seem to be sharing it with my munchkins lately and I'd prefer one all to myself....also I'm a sucker for a splash of Neon pink.
Then there's the real possibility of a new addition to the family.....we are seriously considering getting a dog. The jury is still out weighing up all the pros and cons however if I could choose any it would have to be a cuter than cute, button of an Apricot coloured Multipoo. However as a dog is for life and not just for Christmas this is one present I won't mind waiting for.
