I was always taught never to discuss politics at a dinner party so as not to offend or bore anyone and I dare say that should apply to blogging too (unless you are a politician!) but an exception to that rule must be on the day of the General Election.
I do find politics fascinating, although I'm definitely no expert, and my pre-election Easter holiday read 'The Establishment(and how they get away with it)' by Owen Jones did challenge my existing political beliefs and gave me a different perspective on things which I've since mulled over.
Wherever you place that X by this time tomorrow it will all be over and the voters will have decided who will lead the nation, for now anyway.
If it's a hung parliament and the parties scrambIe to get a working majority together I may have to blog about politics again sooner rather than later!
Today I'm wearing my Zara print coat to vote, along with my Sandro white t-shirt, Zara soft rip skinny jeans, Massimo Dutti black ballet flats and black Karl Lagerfeld sunnies from TK Maxx.
I wouldn't normally wear a black shoe with pastels as it can look too hard but today it's echoed in the outline of the print and is balanced out by my black sunglasses.
