This season skirt update

Today I'm wearing my Autograph M&S skirt from last year. Whilst I'm still loving this style, a midi pencil with fabric belt, there's a new skirt shape to try this season; the wrap ruffle skirt. The M&S Collection version below is very similar to the Maje skirt; it would be hard to tell them apart from a distance!

For an easy holiday look keep it simple with white slides and vest top or style it like J.Crew with bold stripes and tan strappy flats. For an elegant 'city in the summer' look I prefer the simpler Massimo Dutti sarong skirt, with statement jewellery for interest.  For todays outfit builder I've gone for a youthful, playful ensemble to show how versatile this season skirt shape is.
