The Grey coat is now a bona fide wardrobe staple come Autumn/Winter. My Autograph grey coat was bought last year from M&S when it was first launched, and I got so much wear out of it. I'm still wearing it this season, alternating between my Topshop Leopard coat, Reiss black leather jacket and Maje parka.
Today I'm wearing it with more grey, my M&S sweatshirt, navy pinstripe joggers and blue cotton shirt both from H&M. I'm also wearing a thermal vest; with Storm Angus raging down here on the South Coast every layer helps!
For my outfit builder I've swapped out a plain block colour shirt for this bolder stripe H&M shirt which I think works well and breaks up the grey, adding interest at the cuffs and hem. The pinstripe on the suit joggers is a very fine grey and compliments the shirt rather than clashing.

I've also picked my favourite four grey coats available at John Lewis, below; including a great value coat from their own brand range and a Petite fit coat from Fenn Wright Manson for those of you that feel swamped by the standard size coats on offer. I also adore the attention to detail on the Samsoe & Samsoe collar lapel and the Collarless style of the Whistles tailored coat will give you that minimal chic look.
