The Breton top

A staple of any wardrobe the Breton top is a purchase that won't disappoint. As a bona fide jeans wearer the stripe breaks up the dark colour block of the denim and goes with practically anything!

Mine is from Uniqlo but for my outfit builder I've selected one from Hobbs which has a flattering boat neck line too.

Alternatively try Orcival, a brand of Breton that originates in Lyon, and has been selling striped tops since 1939.

See more Breton stripes on my mumsweardaily Pinterest page here.

No style rules being broken here but I've knotted a Moschino silk scarf to my Coccinelle cross body bag to add interest and to subtlely match back the dark khaki green in the print to my Zara cargo sleeveless jacket.

I've also turned up my jean cuffs, as I love the bright yellow stitching on the hem, but it's really because I haven't got round to turning them up yet.

Gucci sunglasses, still going strong, and Leopard Stan Smiths complete todays look. If you're struggling to find a Leopard print trainer then these snakeskin look Animal Print plimsolls from Massimo Dutti are a good alternative.

For a similar ensemble see my outfit builder below and click on the text to shop. Thanks for stopping by.
