The blue shirt

The upside of the children going back to school is that I could finally get my roots done! I'm not a regular visitor to the hairdressers as my stylist will verify having kindly explained before that the reason why a 'Michelle Williams in the Louis Vuitton campaign choppy short style' wouldn't work wasn't necessarily that it wouldn't suit me more that I'd have to significantly up my 4 visits annually to maintain it!

So here I am with my usual low maintenance hair style and the grey well and truly hidden for a few more weeks. I've gone for a low maintenance look today as well as I didn't have time to think about what I was wearing this morning.

See the newly launched Atterley website, formerly Atterley Road, and it's inspiration for 'How to get dressed in 5 minutes flat'.  An oversized shirt and distressed jeans is just one outfit to try although I replaced a heel with a more school run friendly cutout sandal!

My blue cotton shirt is from H&M but as I've shown it before I found a more luxe version from Iris & Ink, The Outnet's own brand collection, for my outfit builder. See 'Ode to the cotton shirt' article, also from Atterley, for more reasons to purchase this great wardrobe staple.

To shop the items just click on the descriptive text below and if you enjoy this post please kindly share with friends and family.

Thanks for stopping by.
